We take our responsibility to safeguard children very seriously at Newport Infant School. The four Designated Safeguarding Leads attend regular training and updates provided by the Local Authority to ensure that we are always up to date with best practice and work closely together to provide a joined up offer. We subscribe to a secure on line system called CPOMS which effectively records and stores all of our information around safeguarding and concerns raised by staff, parents, children and governors. We work closely with professionals in the local authority when appropriate.
